Makes its Document Management Software Available for Worldwide Evaluation Aviator Software, Inc. releases Aviator R2.0, a DM solution for Lotus Notes and the Internet, and makes it available worldwide through its Web site TUCSON, AZ, August, 19, 1998 - With the successful launch of their flagship Aviator in March of this year, Aviator Software, Inc. now makes document management even easier for Lotus Notes users, who can evaluate Aviator R2.0 for free by downloading it from Aviator Software's Web site. Aviator Software, Inc. has announced a number of improvements to their latest release of Aviator. "This release takes Aviator beyond the features offered by our competition, " says Morgan Palmer, Chief Technology Officer. "We are specially excited about Aviator's ability to support users who are disconnected from their servers. Support for mobile users makes Aviator a true Notes product." Some of the more exciting features for this release include Aviator Personal which provides support for mobile users, the ability to browse and search for documents using a Web browser, and an improved collaborative environment for creating and reviewing documents. In an effort to maximize Aviator's impact on Lotus Notes users, Aviator Software, Inc. has made Aviator R2.0 freely available for download from its Web site.
